BY MAIL: Passport Renewal

If you are renewing your passport by mail, please include your completed service order form and the required letter of authorization along with your sealed document package.

Before sending anything, contact our team so we can review your documents, confirm everything is in order, and guide you through the next steps—including locating a nearby acceptance facility if needed.

Important: Do not mail your documents until you have spoken with our team.

This information applies to mail-in applications only. If you plan to visit our office in person, please refer to the in-office option for further instructions.

Please Note: Applicants aged 15 and under are not eligible for passport renewal and must apply as new applicants.

How to Apply

Please note:
  • Do not sign your application until you are instructed to do so
  • Ensure your completed form includes a barcode in the top left corner to confirm it has been filled out correctly
  • You must provide your Social Security number if one has been issued to you
Our team will assist in reviewing your application to make sure everything is accurate and properly prepared before moving forward, helping you avoid unnecessary delays.
To qualify for renewal, your most recent U.S. passport must meet the following:
  • It is undamaged and can be submitted with your application
  • It was issued when you were 16 years of age or older
  • It was issued within the last 15 years
  • It reflects your current legal name, or you can provide documentation supporting your name change
If you were previously issued a passport card, please include it with your documents.
Our team can assist in reviewing your passport and supporting documents to ensure everything meets the requirements, helping you move forward without delays.
Please provide one of the following supporting documents, if available:
  • A valid U.S. driver’s license
  • A valid, undamaged U.S. passport (expired passports may be accepted in some cases)
  • Certificate of naturalization or citizenship
  • Employee ID issued by a city, county, state, or federal organization
  • U.S. military ID or military dependent ID
  • A valid foreign passport
  • Matricula Consular (commonly used by parents of U.S. citizen applicants)
If you are unable to provide one of the documents listed above, our team can guide you on acceptable alternatives and help you move forward smoothly without delays.
Your passport photo must meet the following requirements:
  • Sized at 2″ x 2″
  • Taken against a plain white background
  • Captured within the last one month
We offer professional passport photo services at our office to help ensure your photos meet all required specifications and are ready for submission without delays.
Payment must be made by personal check or money order to the appropriate issuing authority.
  • Adult: $170
Our team will guide you on how to correctly prepare your payment to ensure everything is completed accurately and to help prevent delays.
  • If you have a copy of your travel itinerary or ticket showing upcoming travel within 14 days, please include it with your documents.
  • If you do not have a confirmed itinerary, please contact our team. We will guide you on acceptable options and help you move forward without delays.
Letter of Authorization
Please complete two letters of authorization and follow the instructions below:
  • Check only the first two boxes and leave the third box blank
  • Do not fill in the courier company name until you have spoken with our team
Include one letter of authorization in your package. The second letter must be sent with your sealed envelope after it has been completed at the acceptance facility.

Service Order Form

Please print and complete the service order form, then include it with your documents along with the additional letter of authorization and your sealed package.

Our team will review your submission and guide your application through each step to help ensure everything is properly prepared and moves forward without delays.

If your name has changed due to marriage or divorce, you will need to provide a certified copy of your marriage certificate or a legal court document confirming your name change.

Government Expedite Fees must be paid by cashiers check or money order, payable to “US Department of State”.
